I thought that the 91+ didn't have the grille on the bottom going all the way across, i thought it had two openings there. or did those only come on Non RS's?

Hard to tell which year that is from that angle.I think if the headlight pockets are black then it is a '91,body color it is a '92.That is the standard/only grill for the '91-92RS. I think that it has been standard RS grill since '89.

It is hard to tell what year it is but it is not correct that if the headlight pockets are black, it is a 91 and color matched a 92.

My 92 z28 has the black headlight pockets.

I think the confusion is that the 92 Heritage package camaros had the grill color matched for red, black and white camaros,, not the headlight pockets.

The later 92 colors (polo green and purple haze metallic) did not have the color matched grills on their Heritage package. They came with the black grills.

As for the year, look at the VIN. This will tell you what year it is.

Hope this helps!!!
