Has anybody seen any of the gold trans am's of the 85 to 87 era, I was looking at some dealer book's and they show a gold 86 t-top trans am and was just wondering if and how many they made, post some pic to see, cuz I have never seen one.

 

You haven't seen any cause they are VERY rare.Like those "UPS brown" gta's. Champagne Gold Metallic color code #60 is the color .

 

I use to belong to some Trans Am clubs in the '80's, and have seen quite a few. Of coarse, it was the Los Angeles area, which is a big area.
I don't have any pictures right off hand though.
I'm sure if you look thru the Pontiac magazines during those years, you will probably see some photos of them.
BTW, I thought you were going to stop by some time?

Well, there is another "UPS Brown" GTA getting ready to disappear, mine is going to be repainted. I think that color is awful.

 

There is one running around my neighborhood. I see it every now and then.

 

Hi George, How have you been, I was going to stop bye the last trip out to cali, but Had no time, then I got a call the wife was not doing good and had to get home asap, I think less than 40 hour, I still have your # so next time I'm out that way I will try and stop bye, anyways, I have been back seen then just ruuning around the east coast, But I did just looked in some old HPP mags, and seen in the Dec, 1984 there is a road test or wright up on a gold t-top 1985 with recaro seats in it, so thanks for the tip.
