How many Iroc's with the L98 350 engine were made in 89? I left my white book at my grandma's jeep before she took it back 150 miles away (damn!). Any links for more specifics? post please thanx

According to the white book 12,370.

 

Jesus that's a high number, I can't believe they even made that many IROC's in 1989!

The did make 20,067 IROC's and 3,940 IROC Convertibles in 89. There were a total of 110,739 camaros made in 89.

It was in 1990 that they only made 34,986 camaros and 4,213 were IROC coupes and 1,294 were IROC Verts. Of these, only 2,415 had the 350!!!

I think this was due to the short production year Chevy losing the IROC license at the end of the year.

1990 was a short model year because GM decided not to renew the IROC licensing and instead brought back the Z28. Production never really stopped, it just switched from the 1990 models to 91 several months earlier than normal. More 91's were sold because they were in production longer than normal due to the early 90-91 changeover, and due to the new styling that brought in new customers. 92 was down again because the new look had worn off and people just werent interested. Of course there were plenty of people who didn't want to buy a 92 when the car mags were talking up the 93's that were soon to come out.

How many 350's were made all together from 87-92? (L98)including firebird's and camaro's

 

How many L98 engines were made in all? 87-92? Just for camaros and Firebirds, not vettes.

There are no accurate numbers for Firebirds thru 92. PHS's information stops at 90 if I remember correctly.
