I found a nice 1989 Trans Am that is priced at $3995. I have the vin number for it but I'm not registered for Carfax, so if anyone would want to, can you run this number through and tell me what comes up? 1G2FW21E3KL254712 . Thanks for the help. Also do you think that $3995 is a good price or should I try and talk the seller down? Thanks.

Transmission: in peices
Well...
The 'bird I just got was like this...
It was listed as 3500.
I went and looked at it. Not too bad a shape, the only thing that would be semi major is a door due to bondo not done correctly and it was rotting.
It was a T top, bone stock no body damage from twisting. Normal T top seals leaking. 160,XXX miles. 350 TPI 700R. WS6 suspension package. and a very decent interior.
I went over the blue book value(s) and repairs the car would need with the guy and got him down to 1500. A week later the car was in my driveway.
The car is only worth what person will pay for it. KBB had that 89 GTA at 19XX as a HIGH/Excellent private party value.
Would I pay that? no way unless the car had some serious mods and in hella good condition.
