I acquired this piece on Ebay about a year ago. I feel that stuff like this should be shared with everyone, so I went ahead and scanned the Firebird/Trans Am sections. It's basically a 3"x6" pocket book that dealers carried around for quick reference on car options. This one is for the 84 line of Firebirds, SEs, and Trans Ams. There's even a Recaro section. Enjoy!

Man that book is sweet

I'd love to see one those books from every year of 3rd gen Firebird and Camaro.

What I like about it is how it goes into so much detail on the RPO codes and option packages.. If you look up any RPO decoder on the net, there is very little on package stuff like WS1.. Your book describes EXACTLY what came with WS1 for your model year..

I'm going to start looking and see if there was one for the 90 'Bird.

Jim, there were usually two of those little booklets issued each year.... one for the start of each model year and then another updated one partway through the model year to cover any updates.

I have at least one of them for the GTA years 1987, 1989, 1991, and 1992. The ones I've seen that are dated 1990 (mine is dated March 2, 1990) actually have the 1991 information in them. So far I have not seen one for the 1988 and 1990 model years.... but I continually look for them.
