hideaway headlights

hideaway headlights

i was just wondering if 3rd gens ever had them? i know a guy who has an 83 z28 305 crossfire automatic, its got just about all the options. he says the hideaway lights are factory but i've never seen them on another camaro. any info would be helpful.

there is actually 2 pieces, each one is half the height of the headlight opening. there is 1 at the top and another in the middle of the opening. they have electric motors to open and close them and when closed they follow the slant of the front end.
