140 MPH speedometer

Does anyone know where I can get a 140mph speedometer for a 1985 Iroc-Z Camaro?

You can't. They weren't legal that year. Since the 70s sometime, and the introduction of the national 55mph speed limit we lived under for about a decade, IIRC it was in about 75, speedometers were limited to indicating 85 mph MAX.

You can, however, put the speedo from a later year in it. I have the cluster out of a 87 in my 83 car. Bolts right in, hooks right up, identical in every way externally. You'll need the bezel with the clear plastic, because the trip meter reset stalk comes out in a different place.

Actually I already knew that. I am asking if anyone on the forum has one for sale. Thanks for your reply. Badman

The 82-84 cars apparently had the trip stalk on the upper portion of the speedo head, necessitating the replacement of the clear plastic gauge cover when swapping in a 140. On 85-89 cars, however, the trip stalk is at the bottom of the speedo head and the 140 fits the plastic cover in the same manner as the 85 and 110 speedo heads.

Bad, try the classifieds. Here's also something to consider:
