Exotica edition

I'm looking at an 88 firebird, they claim its some sort of exotica edition. I have never heard of it before, and i cant find any info on it, i figure it just another one of those plots to try and make you pay more since its "rare"

So anyway is their any truth to this exotica edition?

It is exotic because ther was none made by GM.
