Looking for '82-'84 Firebird/TA owners with factory/dealer installed fog lights

Does anyone one here have an early thirdgen firebird that has fog lights installed behind the front grilles from the dealer or factory? I found a set of factory fog lights and I'm just curious how they were installed, as far as wiring goes, etc...

There is nothing in my shop manual regarding the fog lights so it must have been a dealer installed option. I talked to someone who said they were wired into the factory headlight harness. Did they automatically come on with the headlights, or was there an independent switch? I appreciate any info you guys might have about this

Weird, I can't even find the fog lights listed on the brochure I have.

I'm guessing they had something like that in mind otherwhise why would they leave openings in the black grills.

well, it shows it in my parts manual as a dealer installed option, and there was someone selling some fog lights from an '82 TA on Ebay a while back. I was going to buy them, but didn't. I just wanted to see if anyone ever saw them before, or actually has them. Also, I hate to mention Knight Rider, but if you watch the pilot episode there are a few scenes where you can clearly see foglights behind the front grilles, and it was the regular TA before it was "transformed" into KITT.
