Re: artic white?
It's listed in the "Camaro Whitebook" as code 11('82-'85)white,code 40('86-'90)white,and then code 10('91-'92)artic white. In each year's dealer book and carline brochure there may have been a play on the name(Chevrolet and Pontiac differences). But each year colors are assigned based on the previous years sales and surverys. And then you have the different paint manufactur color code and paint type.
On the '89 TTA someone else will have to give info as it may have been a model specific color.

Re: artic white?
White is a good looking color on any 3rd Gen.In pictures,and from a distance,you could mistake my '83 Z28 for white.But she's code 59 beige(only used 2 years,'83-'84,as wasn't a popular color).
Stephen is your buddy's TTA the same color code as your GTA?
Ranone21 I agree it seems that certain years it's that way.My '95 Jimmy is code 72 standard red('95 sales brochure calls it apple red)and it seems that 1 in 5 2nd Gen S/T-Series is that color.

Re: artic white?
Arctic White was introduced in 1991, the color has a slight blue tinge which makes it appear more like the color of snow. THe number for White from 87-90 is "40U" but its number "10U" for 1991 & 1992.
