Stumbled across this today. I know its just an appearance package, but I really like the looks of them. It would look better with the t/a fascia though. Pic quality is not that good...

I guess its a little expensive. I don't know if its the 305 or the v6 either. I just wondered what you guys/gals thought. Thanks.

Whatever floats your boat....but for $9K you could get 2 really nice 3rd gens or 1 excellent one and still have a good chunk of cash left over.
Sure, it's a "collector car", but if/when you decide to sell it in the future you'll have to find that certain collector that's willing to shell out the cash you want to get for it. Even with the "Bandit II" package you have to remember, it's still a base bird under the stick on fake shaker, ground effects, and the hood bird.

At one time you could buy the GFX package on that car, or similar from Classic Industries From the 2000 catalog:
Front spoiler - 269 set (3 piece)
Rocker extensions - 129.95 pr
Door fillers 89.95 pr
Rear valance extension - 189.95

I'd never pay that for it, I just always thought that they looked nice. I seriously doubt they will ever really develop much more value...ya just don't see them very often.

Clean car, never liked the fake hoodscoops, that style was made to shake, and by the position of it, half the motor should be inside the car.

I agree with the majority. 8995 is rediculous price for a cosmetic package .... save your money and put it towards a nice 3rd gen convertible that will maintain it's value or TTA of course.

I think that is a real shaker isn't it?? I remember back in the day looking at a slightly used red trans am with finned wheels and a shaker hood. I could of swore it was stock. Even had a vacuum actuator to open up the door on the shaker.

nope they were a stick on deal... I imagine that someone has taken 2nd gen stuff and put it on a 3rd gen, if you have the pieces and a cutting tool then go to town...
