Hey! I have a question reguarding an 89 formula I recently stumbled across. The car is an auto, 5.0 tpi, pwr. windows and locks, but the odd thing is that the ad says it has a digital dash. I don't guess I realized that this was an available option for formulas. Can anyone confirm whether this is correct or not. I have not seen the car yet, but am planning on going sometime in the next day or two. Did some formulas have digi dashes? Thanks!!!

 

Nope, no Formulas ever came with a digital dash from the factory. Someone swapped one in if its got one.

 

1988 was the last year for the digital dash too...

If you look at it I know that there are some aftermarket dashes that fit in the place of the OE one that are all digital, I guess its a plug & Play tyep thing, but I never played with one.

Hey...just a follow up.... I talked to the owner, and he said he had put the dash in himself from a donor car. This car is maui blue, and has 205k. miles on it. Some engine resto work done, but not sure how extensive. He's asking 2400obo, so not really too bad, just a few more miles than I'm looking for ....to put daughter in. I only saw one pic of the car, and it looks nice, but doesn't have the formula rims on it...just some regular firebird rims. No rust though.
