Interesting to see what options, and the vehicle itself cost in 1992. :

Re: Some 1992 Camaro Stuff

I was looking through all my paper work (bill of sale) after posting (the original owner sold it to a lady thats husband got sick and never plated it, then I bought it, so its really a 3 owner car, but actually just 2 owners drove it). So I looked at this phone number on the invoice, and thought, what the hell. I called her.

Told her I am the owner of her 1992 Camaro. She said "Oh My.. I miss that car, I owned a 79, a 83 and the 92, and it was my FAVORITE!" She aid she remember when they delivered it brand new at Briar wood chev olds on Feb 19 1992. She had the 2.8 1983, and loved the look of the 1991 camaro when it came out (looked like the v8 counterpart) so she waited until 1992 when the sales were big due to 1993's being out soon, then ordered a code 37 teal ttop RS.

She said she had some clear coat pealing issues in 1996, fought with gm and they covered the new paint job for her. She drove all HWY from Etobiko - AJAX everyday (hence it currently being at 350,000.. well i do 1000km a week in it too lol) She said it NEVER once let her down, she did all the maintance at Briar wood (i have service copy, she fixed EVERYTHING lol) She said she never wanted to be stranded so it always got GM parts.

She never wanted to sell it, but got a new job, and got more money. And she bought a Acura TL. She said she still misses cruising with the tops off in the RS on summer days though

I just emailed her a ton of pictures, I think its kinda neat to be able to talk to owner #1

Re: Some 1992 Camaro Stuff

Your teal car has 350K miles on it?

Well, mine has 190K but over a quarter mil is crazy mileage! Also, ever do a CarFax on your car? Seeing where it gets tested, registered, and gets "dealer service" is nice to see.
