I know they made a yellow IROC but I saw a two toned mid 80's z28 for sale the other day and it said factory yellow car?
They made yellow Z28s with gold accent and also with Silver so the Z28 was available in yellow.

This was the classic Yellow IROC that was on all the magazines in 1985.

I want to think that the Yellow was an IROC/Z28 option in 85 & 86, In 1987 it was an IROC only color and in 1988 it was an SC only color. In a similar vein (Bright) Yellow was a Trans Am only color thru 1986 and Formula only color in 1987 & 1988.

Actually John, the yellow was available on the Z28 in 1987. It wasn't available from 88-92 on any IROC-Z or Z28.

I am almost positive I remember a 1986 yellow Z-28 in my hometown.....
