just kinda curious if eny one knows how meany darkgreen camaros (i think the color is polo green tho) cause iv never seen another camaro like mine in person and the few iv seen on the internet have gold stripes and tan interiors
so i just kinda wanted to know how rare of a color combo is my camaro (grey interior btw)

Ive seen several your color where im from but mine is a metallic dark green grey.

 

polo green only came on 92 models, 5,365 were made. only came on RS models. black, light brown (tan) and gray were the available interior colors.

What is your paint code (located on your RPO code sticker)? Mine looks similar to yours but it is Dark Green Gray Metallic....

 

well i ran the rpo codes and it came up with

45U: PRIMARY COLOR,MED GREEN MET (91)

 

Mine is the Polo Green color... and it had the light brown (tan ) interior in it but am changing it out to Gray...

 

Colour code is 45U / WA 9539. It is listed as Metallic Medium Polo Green II.

My camaro is that color too. Though it has to be repainted since my clear coat is slowly coming off. I was gonna change the color but decided to keep it green since I don't see so many of them. I also have the tan interior.

 

I was wondering the same thing. I have never bumped into, drove past or parked beside another camaro of my colour. Mine is not Polo Green, it is Hunter Green. It was purchased NEW in "96 from a general motors auction" so being the first private owner I still received my 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.

Was it repainted? There were 2 green colours offered in '92 . . .

Medium Polo Green II Metallic - code 45 (WA 9539)
Dark Green - Grey Metallic - code 18 (WA 9795)

and also kind'a green . . .
Dark Teal Metallic - code 37 (WA 9238)

But nothing listed as Hunter Green.

 

I posted a pic, I don't know why it doesn't show on my profile. And I do not know how to add another pic to this answer.

It has not been repainted, it was brand new when I bought it. I was told that this was the only one made with this green (?) Where can I find the paint code and I will go and take a look. My car has 45,000 original miles on it.

Is there production numbers by colour for all years available?

 

Sort of, the numbers would be for the entire Camaro or Firebird production for the year in a specific color. So if it was available on Sport Coupes, Z28s, and Irocs, the number include all of those model cars in that color.

The Camaro White Book is a good place to start. It goes through cycles where it's in print and out of print. I think they're on the sixth version now, and my copy is only about the 3rd or 4th. Check Ebay, or Amazon for a used copy. Or if all else fails, start a thread and ask, someone will be happy to look it up for you.

What do you guys think of this price for the Camaro White Book for the latest versions since no others will be printed in book form anymore?

I should have bought a hundred copies 4 or 5 years ago. Just like all the IROCs I should have bought from 1985-1990 back in the day. It won't let me give the link to Amazon so I copied and pasted the listing for 1 book being between $1,500.00 and $1,800.00 I'm trying to edit it in.

Can't remember what I paid for mine... Picked it up at a Racer's Swap Meet from an auto lit dealer. Pretty sure it was single digit dollars. Certainly, the internet and "free information" has hurt the market for physical books. It's too bad, would be nice if the books were available. Camaro - The Third Generation is another great book that is perpetually out of print, and expensive used.
