89 Camaro RS - Opinion Appreciated
89 Camaro RS - Opinion Appreciated
This is a pretty general question involving restoration...
I just bought a 89 Camaro RS V6 T-top from a neighborhood kid for 1,500. It runs pretty strong but is in need of a new starter, a little body work is in order and some fresh paint but its all minor. This is the first car I've ever owned (19 y/o) and I really want to do it up right, but I'm not sure where to start. Any advice or words of wisdom dealing with this car? If you were in my shoes where would you move first? I'd just like to collect some ideas before I jump blind if you know what I mean.

I'd start with all of your mechanical work first ie; tune up, starter. fuel filter, V8 swap if thats what your planning then on to body and paint. From the sound of it you gotten ahold of a fairly solid car, well good luck
