Car runs great... I do need to invest some $$$ into the front end suspension... my ball joints and tie rods are showing play. I get a little vibration when I slightly turn at speed.... either then that the car runs tight. The only thing I have done to the front end was replace front struts... that's it.

Haha, mine lasted to 69,000 miles, then bend a rod . A cop owned it... makes me wonder what he did to it. I bought it with 63,000 miles. Now it is almost at 82,000

Congradulations David, that is an accomplishment, Though I'd say you're about 120,000 miles overdue for those front end parts.

Actually Kevin.. I am surprised that the car's front end has lasted as long as it has.... Since the car is a daily driver and isn't running on the slolum coarse... in a practical sense IMO the only time you really would need a front end rebuild is if the car's handling was affected, or eccessive tire wear was evident...in this case only the first applies as it feels a little loose up front. Surprisingly my front tires have even wear-- inside and outside.

My 87 must have been assembled on a non- Friday or when GM employees were not hung over from the weekend before. LOL
