Re: RARE TRANS AM?
1986 LB9 305 TPI was rated at 190HP.
Your car is well optioned but there is nothing that makes it rare or highly valueable. 1986 was a good sales year and they sold nearly 50,000 Trans Ams.

Re: RARE TRANS AM?

190HP. In 86 they went back to a smaller camshaft and the HP rating dropped. 1985 had the higher HP rating.

Re: RARE TRANS AM?
Just a recommendation. You might want to read the sticky near the top of the topics board called "read before asking if rare/desirable". Might find some information there. Also I asked the same thing when I started here and turns out its an annoying question to ask unless it really is something rare. Just trying to give some helpful advice.
As for the computer plug I am not sure. But these cars have OBD one computers. The 1996 and newer have OBD 2 computers which are easier to gain access to and easier to gain information from as well. My brother has an 86 MR2 and you needed a code reader and had to go into the engine compartment to get the codes from the car.
