why is this motor in my maro
alright so i was looking at the specs for the 85 sport coupe (what i have) on here and I have the 2.8L MFI v6 sport coupe, it says that motor went in berlineta(excuse spelling). My car doesnt have any berlineta emblems or anything, was this motor just an option or what?

the 2.8L mfi (LB8) was standard with the Berlinetta and an option with the Sport Coupe. The base for the SC was a 2.5L tbi (LQ9). Check out Camaro Specs section on the home page.

And not to be a jerk, but the car is a CAmaro, not a maro. You will find that as a pet peeve to a lot of people here.

whoa..... sorry about that I had just gotten home from work and was pissed off already I miss read his message and thought he was calling me a jerk for calling it a maro (when he was really saying NOT to be a jerk). Everyone has their bad days
