1LE.net?

Hey does anyone know what happened to this site? It seems to have gone down recently.

I'm curious if anyone knows who was running it and can put me in touch with him as I'd like to pick it up and continue hosting and expanding it.

Thanks in advance!

Re: 1LE.net?

Let me do some digging. Way back when I first got into the 1LE's someone emailed the email addy for the main owner/moderator of the board. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Not sure if he still owns it but I have a contact of a guy named Ryan from Delaware. His Ebay username is: dissolvedman

That's all I have. Good luck.

Re: 1LE.net?

Does anyone know more about this or have any updates on the status of that site? I am also interested in helping bringing it back. I just purchased my first 1LE yesterday, and recalled seeing that site in the past, but still is down.

Not sure if info provided above is still relevant or accurate, so please let me know if you have more info!

Thanks!

Re: 1LE.net?

I haven't seen the admin online for a while now. I did talk to him back years ago about the site and even taking over admin for him. I can't find a direct contact for him other than @1le.net stuff.

The good news ... there is lots of 1LE info here on this page, and lots of car owners, and a few original owners. The 1988 1LE's are even represented.

Mark.

Yes. Just nice to have a consolidated area for that topic.

I sent an email to the AOL.com address that was the webmaster addy on the site at the time and got back a return message, so that's no good.

I sent another email to the addy listed in the DNS listing above, and haven't heard anything back yet.

I saved the eBay sellers name shared above in case they list something for sale in the future, and will try to reach out that way as well.

In the meantime, if anyone else has any info on how to contact the original site owner, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

Re: 1LE.net?

I think the reason why you didn't get a response is because it appears he changed registrars between when Scott posted (2009) and today (2016) so the info Scott posted would be outdated.

That said, instead of having many sites that come and go while we're still here, you could give us a hand by writing (or editing) the articles to make them into a consolidated and easy reference here.
