Conflicting A/C delete pulley part #'s

I ordered the pulley using the part number from 1le.net (10115875) I have since done more research here and found that everyone else is using the part number 10055890.

The one I have has a pulley that is half the dia of the 890 version. Are there two of them?

I can't exactly check to see if my one will work because the car is buried in snow at the moment

Also, I have seen pics of the alternator relocated to where the smog pump used to be. Where can I find info on that?

you shouldnt have any problems. Just get a shorter belt. I used the 10055890 with no problems.

The one you have is for an LT-1 ... There is a thread about this. I bought the 10055890 and it works great on my 91.

The pulley I have is nothing like that. You are right, it seems I do have the LT1 version. Can I still use it? This is what it looks like:

Will it bolt in? If it'll bolt in I don't see why there'd be a problem with it. If you're looking for the alternator where the smog pump used to be do a search for JohnsJJ2. DM91RS has some pics up where he relocated his alternator to where the AC compressor is, you might wanna look at that.

Sweet ride. What does it run?
What part of CA are you in? Sacramento here.
What else did you remove besides the AC? Anything?

I am not usre if it will bolt up. Currently the car is buried in snow. By the looks of the previous pic I doubt it will though. The bracket portion of it is MUCH thinner than the one shown. I think I need to buy the other version

Maybe im missing something but why not just remove the AC belt and be done with it. There are still belts going to the alternator, air pump and powersteering all aff the crank. i dont see the need to spen extra money on an a/c delete pully. what am i missing?

KMAN... in order to keep the belt tensioner, the delete pulley must be in place.

It's also to save weight and help unclutter the engine bay.

With the V belt setup you can do that, but with the serpentine belt you need a delete pulley.

I don't know if this has already been addressed or if you've figured it out, but the LT1 delete pulley will not work with your setup (unless you have a LT1 engine installed, of course). I know this because I went through the exact same issue with my '89 L98 IROC. Fortunately my local dealer was kind enough to give me an exchange

I apologize if this has already been addressed; if not, hopefully the info helped.

Yup, it has been sorted out.

I even sold the LT1 pulley on ebay for enough money to cover the cost of BOTH pulleys!!
