So GMpartsDirect gave me the following PNs that I want to verify, they are for a 1992 Trans Am:
$165.86 - 20206721 - Driver side front side door power window regulator
$24.47 - 12497971 - Front side door power window regulator motor
It looks like both power window motors are the same 12497971 PN, is that correct?
Is the 20206721 PN for the regulator just for the drivers side like stated above? What is the PN for the passenger?
Lastly, you know those little metal pieces with the black felt that are used to adjust the window glass, the window guides I guess they would be called. I need the part numbers for all of those too.
Thanks!

$193.16 - 20206720 - Passenger side front side door power window regulator
$165.86 - 20206721 - Driver side front side door power window regulator
$24.47 - 12497971 - Front side door power window regulator motor
Can anyone confirm the window regulator P/Ns as correct for a 1992 Firebird?
Also, is the power window motor the same P/N for both sides? And why is it so cheap?
Lastly, anyone know the P/N for the little metal pieces with the black felt that are used to adjust the window glass?
I need to get all this stuff ordered ASAP for my restoration.
Thanks!
Alex

Have you checked out rockauto.com? I've bought quite a lot from them. They list power window motors for 3gens for about $30.

I've replaced both power window motors in my 91 GTA. The part # I have for just the motor is 19151479. The part is the same for the driver and passenger side. I used the tech article on this site as a guide on replacing them.Originally Posted by 92GTA

If we are talking about the same parts, for the long rubber/metal felts that run along the exterior of the doors by the windows, the part numbers are as follows:
driver side: 10124265
passenger side: 10124264
I would recommend you buy those parts from your local GM dealer. I bought some from the US and the packaging got damaged in shipping which caused the parts to be bent. They can be bent back into place but there may be a spot where they aren't straight. At least if you order them locally, you can inspect them before you pay for them.
Thanks!
I actually have both those strips. I really looking for the metal window guides that are inside the door that you can't see. They have felt on the glass side and are bolted with a 10mm bolt to the inside of the door frame and guide the glass up and down at the right angle...

I have attached a picture, if you are talking about the the #4 item the part number for a 1982-1991 Camaro is:
Stabilizer Wdo 10113701
If that is not the right item, let me know what item number you need info for.

Do you know how many there are? I know there are atleast 2 each door but I can't remember if there is a 3rd or so...

I am not sure. I have a CD with these pages and part numbers, but I don't see where it tells how many are used per door.
Glad to help.
Glad to help.
Ok, I'll just take off my door panel and verify before I order.
Thanks!
Other problem is that part # doesn't seem to exist anymore
I'll see if GMpartsDirect can tell me what it was replaced with...
