Dealership closed back in 1992 or so if I remember correct. My 1989 TTA was sold new there and I'm interested if anyone might have some photos, dealer license plate or anything to share if you got your 3rd Gen (or other car) from them back in the late 80's ?

 

I don't have any info on the dealership but I am curious as to where in midland was this dealer located?

 

They were on 1070 Midland Ave, Midland, PA 15059

Went out of business in 98 ... just checked on the year in my files.

It was only about 40 minutes away from me too, google maps shows it being a convience store and a autobody shop now. not even a shuttered dealer to take pictures of.

 

Yep was looking at google maps as well and as you say a body shop etc these days ... interested to contact someone living there or post a wanted advert in a local paper but don't seem to find somewhere to do it on-line :-(

 

In my town the local businesses sponsor the high school yearbooks and place ads in the back of them, I'm not sure they do this everywhere though. Maybe there's some ads in some old yearbooks out there?

 

So far I have come up with nothing, even contacted some local companies and tried the local paper but nothing ... so if anyone got some info or bought their car there let me know. Just would like some old photos, or if someone got a dealer license plate or license plate frame from them or anything really I would be interested.

 

My dad was the owner. Didn't know if you were still looking for a license plate frame. I can ask my dad to see if he has any or any of our relatives have any.

not found anything all these years and would be interested in anything reall from that time period (80's 90's) being a dealer license plate and or frame .... old photos or similar would be really nice to see as well.

You are probably already on to this, but set up an ebay search to email you all daily hits of your search term. Good chance someone in the US is selling or will sell something with the name on it. It may not be a lot, but I did find my dealer bumper badge (as a shop display).

 

Yep been hoping something would surface on ebay; got a search (on US ebay) since maybe 10 years and surprised nothing surfaced at all ... only thing I did see was a set of postcards from the 50's I think but that is all (postcards Pontiac issued that the dealers put their name/address on).

 

According to ASC, They did not order any 1989 Firebird Convertibles.

 

That is ok, the one they sold (mine) is a 1989 t-top / leather TTA

 

I want a TTA, probably never own one, but I want one...
