Well the VIN confirms a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro F Body with a 5.7L engine, but the VIN won't tell you if it's an IROC or not!!
You need the RPO codes off of the SPID in the center console!!
B2L, L98, and Z28 = IROC

Re: Vin Check
Well a 5.7 in Vin would confirm Iroc....No? And that would be the 8 in the vin correct?

Re: Vin Check
Using that thinking then, any 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990 ( manufactured up unitl Dec 31 1989) Camaro with the engine code "8" in the VIN is an IROC, since the IROC is the only Camaro that came with the 5.7 in those years!!
However, the VIN doesn't tell you that it's an IROC specifically, based on the way your question was asked!!

Re: Vin Check
GM can pull the RPO codes from the VIN, or somebody on these boards that happens to have access to a dealer's data base!!
Try www.compnine.com they have a VIN decoder on the left hand side of their main page under resources, I just tried it again, and it's pretty good!!
P.S. I just tried to run your VIN through it, and got a nothing found!! Check out the site anyways, and check your VIN out for yourself!!
