Hi, thanks for the question. Well I have a few problems.

First, I think the car needs ground effects, and since IROC GFX don't fit, I bought some after market for the base, which don't fit the IROC, unless of course I want to change nose and tail bumpers.

Secondly, I have some surface rust, from sitting in grass for 6 years, which will be covered by the GFX when they become installed.

Thirdly, the AT 1st gear shifts hard, and I think there is some self adjusting two finger thing to do which resets all of the AT gear shifts.

Fourth, My upholstery and cloth is like new, but it did sit for 6 years, and the seats have cloth inserts, and the driver seat cloth insert split just real close to the vinyl seam on the side of the seat as you enter the seat. This happened after I bought the car, and suggests maybe my cloth is not good, strength wise. Another thing, the horizontal progressive bar pattern appears the original new color was black and white, with a progressive gradiant color change, but appears to become a sun-bleached blue in areas which would have been subject to the sun's rays.

Fifth, it has a fixed antennae, and I always liked the looks and lines of a recessed power antennae, as well as it has an aftermarket radio not installed properly, as it loses its station memory when the ignition goes on/off. Seems there is a wire which feeds a trickle charge to the radio so it remembers the channels. Maybe I should get an original AM/FM Radio Cassette, since I have a lot of cassette music, or try to find somehow to restore the original AM/FM Radio Cassette I do have.

Sixth, I am running after market 15" Eagle wheels, and wonder if I should r and r for stock 16" Camaro aluminium wheels instead,

Seventh, the paint probably was new 6 years ago, which did oxidize and was restored and then waxed is the original flame red color, and I think a repaint with clear coat is called for. The paint appears to be enamel or something not clear coat friendly.

Eighth, Universal joints.

Nineth, the interior really looks new, but for what I have mentioned, as I replaced the leather console lid cover, but somehow the plastic dash from the center cluster to the passenger side is cracked vertically in two places, like somebody tried to take it out, without unfastening ALL of the screws.

Tenth, interior headliner cloth is like the rest, but the cardboard shaped backing is iffy around the T-Top openings.

That's about it. The guy that sold it to me suggested I turn it into a Berlinneta or IROC Z-28, since it is the model which they are all built on.

There are pictures in my garage and album.

What do you think I should do? Richard.
