New guy don't know what I have?

Well I just picked up a car from a guy because he is moving I don't know much about it or what it is. As far as I know the car was build by Richard Childress racing in NC in 2000. It has a Edlebrock performer 350, manual trans, blackjack headers and a 650 carb. It's a cool car and my 9yr son thinks it's the best thing he has ever seen, But the wife on the other hand. I would love to sell it, but don't know what it's worth or if it's the real deal. The inside has Dale Earnhadt emblem in the dale and some other stuff also. I would think if someone just wanted to put stickers on it they wouldn't go thru the trouble of the inside details? plus the decals are to nicely done. I don't know any help would be great.

Thanks

I'll post photos as soon as I can

It sounds like like a 4rth gen SS or the Dale Earnhardt Edition.

Send the VIN and that would help alot

This could be it from GMMG

no, you have to host the pics elsewhere, photobucket, and then insert them here.

if you want to Email me the pics, i can post them for you.

sounds like a car built for a charity auction or something along those lines.

Re: New guy don't know what I have?

Looks like a camaro retroffitted with lat 80's front air dam and a bunch of decals.

My guess is this car was fixed up for PACE CAR duties at one of the local short tracks in Honor of Earnhardt.

When I used to travel, we used to go to alot of the small town Friday or Saturday night racetracks and most of the time there was either a new car pacing the field from a local dealership for marketing or a fixed up car (camaro, vette, TA, or old school vert) pacing the field.

Nice looking car.

Yeah I didn't think it was some big collector car but for a Earnhardt fan this would be sweet I'm just not into nacar and for what I paid I'm not out a whole lot may just have fun with it drop my son off at school and stuff, but cash talks

Re: New guy don't know what I have?

Contact rcr with a photo of the car and see if they remember it. All racer's are car guys, so you would probably get a response. If not, still a neat driver.
