Re: player's sticky

It got unstickied; while I think it was a wise decision to get rid of half of them, I don't think that was a good one to ditch, especially when some locked thread about the green liberal terrorists to our hobby was one of the select few to remain...

Re: player's sticky

Search for R4U or Players and you'll find it.

All the stickies an any specific model where unstickied.

Re: player's sticky

The idea behind sticky threads is that every visitor should see them. There were so many here that the ones that really needed to be seen, and were relevant to the majority were being ignored. You can't expect people to read more then one or two sticky threads before posting.

Re: player's sticky

Players thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/hist...-players-.html

If the Players thread, why not the B4C thread. If the B4C thread, why not the Y84 thread. Each had their own interest to specific readers and each covered specific ThirdGens that could be considered History worthy to many.

Scott, John and some staff discussed and decided there's a lot of threads in the History forum that could be considered important but screen space is limited.

I can see that, but to me looking at the four that were left...well...they seem like the least relevant/important, or the most no-brainer of what there was.

Do as you see fit, just my two cents.

It does look cleaner without 20 of them up there, though. It was definitely a needed change.

And yet we will have people who ask about a 1986 350 or a 350 5-speed.
