You should have a G for the 8th digit of your VIN number for L69 HO 305. If it is H it is an LG4.

Thanks, the 8th digit is an H, but still this car does move quicker than any TBI 305s I've ever driven. Is that normal with Carb, I've always been told that fuel injection has a quicker response time than Carb? This car was purchased in Germany in 84 an it's been in the family ever sense. I haven't really had a chance to drive it much because of personal reasons, or I would know more. The thought is that there might be a different computer chip in this car. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

Export cars in some instances did not have the emissions and sometimes actually had a hotter cam. So it may be possible...

Chances are someone may have swapped another cam, or engine or parts to make it faster...

Being an export car makes sense, this was a floor model at a dealership so possibly it was ordered with special specs to the dealership, I guess won't know for sure. The motor just hit it's 90,000 mile mark bringing it home, gonna put some TLC into it and enjoy it, thanks again
