If 87 was the last year that the camaros were built in Norwood then why is my 1987 Sortcoupe's 11th digit an L?

If the 11th digit of your VIN is L, then it was built at Van Nuys. 1982-1987 F-Bodies were built at either Van Nuys or Norwood. 1987 was the last year for the Norwood plant, so all remaining ThirdGens were then solely built at Van Nuys.
