Yeah I'm a member of both just don't get on them much due to lack of access at my work. No problem with this board though, LOL! I go by Superdave on both.

Certainly know you. I'm SpeedRacerX on both.

I remember the nice job you did on your CTS-V brakes!

I plan on the same probably this spring but I'm thinking 'yellow' V calipers behind my black wheels.

Re: 1989 Formula Carroll Supercharged 350 VHO

Small update. I completed the injector install a couple weeks back. Turned out great. Idling and driveability are better than ever.

Finally had a chance, on a sunny weekend day today, to take her out and drive her in a variety of conditions just to make sure the computer was learning the new injectors. She's running really good.

Covered her back up for awhile.

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Re: 1989 Formula Carroll Supercharged 350 VHO

It's been a bit since I updated.

Did a brake job on the 4-wheel discs this weekend. All new pads and checked all the calipers. Everything bled and working perfectly. Brakes nice and straight.

Cleaned it and drove it. Runs strong, stays cool, shifts perfectly.

Love this car but it's up for sale. I just don't have a garage or good place to keep it. It must go to a better home.

Sale Thread.

Re: 1989 Formula Carroll Supercharged 350 VHO

Car was sold. Here are some pics of it being loaded this morning and on its way to her new owner in AZ.

Definitely sad to see it go but the new owner has a few cars (including a Red Firehawk Convertible), a nice place to keep it and plans to take it to the next level that I couldn't so I am happy about that.

Re: 1989 Formula Carroll Supercharged 350 VHO

So its a 350TPI and the dealer had a speed shop he was working with that installed a supercharger? Sounds like back in the old days when you could get all kinds o goodies done too your car through dealer speed shop collaborations. Think Yenko, Baldwin-Motion ect. Great car don't let a kid wreck it. They always wreck their 1st car...trust me I know I've sent more than a couple third gens go to the graveyard at the hands o my sons.

Thanks T. My restore of this car wouldn't have been possible in the timeframe I accomplished it without all the questions you answered for me, the pointers you provided and your responses to my frantic weekend text messages when I was frustrated and stumped.

Kudos to this forum too. It helped me tremendously and the members are top notch.

I Appreciate all the documentation of this car that you put in the forums. I love it. An L98 Formula with Boost built that way back when. Thats just AWESOME! I also help the new owner joins up here. And keeps us informed.

Just saw this, your welcome and it was my pleasure! I'm glad I got the chance to help out on such a historically cool car.
Thank you for the parts also!
