Low miles, LB9/T5/3.45, convertibles don't come up very often. G92 was available on convertibles in '88.

Re: Now, this is a nice one!
I just saw one very close to looking just like that in my neighbor hood, my head turned around as I gave the guy thumbs up. Never saw it before. It looked like it just drove off the lot. There has been a few here lately that i've seen that are really nice. Someone is keeping them hidden!

Not a fan...the tan interior is absolutely gross, and the half leather is even grosser.
The front bumper is darkened (expected though), the paint is in decent need of correction, and the driver's door panel carpet is stained pretty badly. Plus with the paint issue he mentioned, the gold accents, and 30,000 miles, I'd take a pass despite the desirable drivetrain. I realize I'm being picky though.

Manual trans convertible - this is a future collector's item. Excellent condition on arguably the most desirable third gen of all.
You could buy this, drive it on sunny Sunday afternoons for 10 years and still get your money back.

Personally, I like the tan interior, and while I could give or take the half leather, at least its different. I like it better than the full leather, personally, as there's less leather to get hard and shrink...
I like that car. A lot. That's one fun driving convertible...

I noticed the fading nose piece; mine is doing the same thing but is only visible under very specific conditions. I have only seen a few low mile originals where the plastic body components weren't fading at a different rate than the metal body (nose, rear bumper, GFX, spoilers).

It's decent and a very rare car. If I were a wealthy collector it'd be in the garage. The gold accents, wheels, red, and tan interior are a good example of how the 80's cars can ride that line between cool and cheese, sometimes crossing over. Since I'm not a wealthy collector, though, this would be way down the list. I'm too much of a 91-92 hardtop V8 fan and not much of a vert person.

Good point on the "cheese". It's funny how I was fanatically against it in the day, but 25 years later, I almost seek it out. Nostalgia?? Case and point, man oh man, did I used to hate that CAMARO CAMARO CAMARO interior in the '80's. But now.....

When I ordered my IROC, I even got it as a decal delete. I couldn't understand why everyone didn't do that.

That being said, I also have a newfound appreciation for IROC-Z graphics, tone on tone paint, "CAMARO CAMARO CAMARO" interiors, etc. I will still draw a line at some of the more awkward two-tone paint jobs, hatch-glass louvers, Pace Cars, etc.
