Would this sticker been on our cars from the assembly plant?
Just noticed this sticker when looking at the low milage TTA on ebay ..
Anyway would this have been on the windscreen or somewhere else when our cars left the Van Nuys assembly plant?
Anyone got one and can provide a good scan and the dimenstions and I can reproduce and post a print quality PDF for us all to use.

Interesting find. My car has a different "CPC" identifier that is on the underside of my hood. When I tried to research mine, I got little info but, as I understand things, CPC stands for "Chevrolet-Pontiac Canada". Some cars coming down the Van Nuys line were orders for Canadian dealers/customers and probably got an identification sticker such as the one you are showing us to embrace the relationship between GM and the UAW. My car did not have one of these but here is the one it did have.

Yep both Norwood and Van Nuys where part of the C-P-C group.
Your sticker is clearly an engineering test car of some sort.
The sticker I posted where on a 1989 Turbo Trans Am and they were only sold in the US so not an export ... I suspect they put these stickers on the cars windscreen when done and they passed quality test ready for shipping ... then the dealers removed them as part of their prep work so very few survived.
We asked a couple of former Van Nuys employees and hope they remember and can tell us more; when we find something out I'll post it here as well.

So we got this confirmed .. ""That sticker was put on at final assembly but they were pretty inconsistent with these. They also fell off or the dealers removed them so they would not be still on every car."
They are inded 2"x2" and where static cling style stickers (hence they fell off I guess).

Now if someone could find out if there was such a sticker for the Norwood cars. I'd be all over one.

Most likely as many other GM plants had their own similar sticker I've been told however never seen one from Norwood ...
