Early SCCA Guidelines Players challenge cars
I have another request to try and verify if these cars where part off the Player's Challenger series cars or that SCCA racers knew how to special order a stripped Camaro. I saw a recent article which made alot of sense that most folks were'nt interested in these cars without accessories, so here's my question.
How many perfomance G92 rpo's were produced ordered with the base group option 1SA rpo?

There were certainly rules for racing your car in the Player's Challenge series. Though I can't answer how many cars came with what.
This is from the back of my 1987 Player's Challenge book.

I find it interesting that TPI 305 and 5 speed are mandatory (no autos, no 350's)...That makes sense. But no A/C allowed. This pre-dates the 1LE option.

Yes it does, the option for the race cars was 86-a4Q 87-88 a4u 89-92 r7u. there were 4 88 1le's made ( so the rumer has it). All the player's cars were g92.
