I was told by a gentleman at a local Camaro show last summer who is the original owner of an 18k mile light blue 85 IROC-Z, that the solid valve stems are 85 only. 86 went to the traditional rubber style valve stems. I dont know if that statement is accurate, but thats beside the point.

All of my valve stem caps are gone. I was told by this gentleman that there are metal caps for the solid valve stems. Is that true? If so where can I find some? Any other 85 IROC-Z owners want to help me out with this mystery? Thanks.
