Hi Everyone, I'm slowly learning details abut my 1989 IROC-z. I have a Metallic Blue, 89, 5.7, T-top car without emblems, they were stolen before I bought it. Does anyone have a minute to check EBAY item#281163274100, to see if it is the correct set of emblems for this car (Metallic Blue)? Expensive as hell, but I need originality here, as this car is extremely low miles and original. I'm not sure about the chevy bowtie being red, thanks in advance.Originally Posted by scottmoyer

If you want quality look no furthur than Phoenix Graphics.....May cost a little more but the backer on the decals has the markings for the correct placement on the car...Extremely accurate and super high quality...

These are the ebay items Gruth is referring to:
What color is your interior? A red interior could have red emblems and not the silver ones.

Hi Scott, My interior is black and grey, black carpet. These emblems are $320, reserve not met now, crazy. While I got you here, I found this behind a panel in the rear hatch while replacing some broken clips, i think its the original build sheet. Here's a couple pics of my minor project, 5.7TPI, still under 50 mile car. Check out these brake pads that were on it, original, like new. Finding out how tough it is to find NOS parts for this thing
That set listed is what you are looking for. The red bowtie is correct for 1989.
Does anybody have knowledge of reproductions that use the correct font? The replicas on ebay look hideous and would be a definite "no-go" for a correct restoration. The $350 price on the set listed above is also ridiculous.

I did my car with a kit from these people. Been 6 years and still looks fine.
