New to forum but I finally got my dream car

I recently got my hands on a 1986 firebird Trans Am burgundy 305 4-bbl carb....with 7,214 original miles on her. (That is not a typo) She's sitting in my garage and I'm just in shock that I have her.

I haven't had a carb in like 25 years so I'm rusty with adjusting. She is nice has a nice low idle, no leaks, and is all original. The interior is like a damn time machine. I just decoded her RPO sheet which I found by happenstance. I'm a data geek so that was fun. I'm looking forward to car shows but I'm new to the circuit. Anyone in NH can point me to any good shows?

Looking forward to finally getting on here and posting. Thanks guys (and gals! - no reason to be sexist right?) hope to see some of. You around NH.

Nice one. Even a low mile car at this age needs some love, so take your time to check it all out before hitting the show circuit.

5 speed or auto?

Very nice find! What color is the interior? Looks like it might be gray.

Re: New to forum but I finally got my dream car

I know how you feel. When I got my 89 GTA last year my wife would find me staring at it in the garage for no reason.

Beautiful car. Can't wait to see more pictures.

How/where did you find it?

Re: New to forum but I finally got my dream car

Interior is gray (grey....whatever...I'm too tired! Lol) found her on eBay of all places. Guy bought it for his wife who hated it so he stuck it in the back of his garage for 25 years. Really took care of it well though. Started it every couple of weeks and drove it around his yard to get the juices going. I'm sick but tomorrow i'll hopefully have the energy to take stock in my illegal husband purchase.

Posting some other Picts now. Sorry I don't know how to get multiple in one reply.
