Re: rare indy pace car?

I found this in the White book:
-Number of 82 Indy Pace cars: 6,360
-Number of 82 Camaros with J65 (4 wh disc): 6,254
-All 4 wheel disc brakes mandated the G80 (ltd slip axle)
- The only way to get disc brakes was to have a V8 LG4 minimum on the Berlinetta or SC. (Obviously all Z28s had the V8).

This does not answer how many Indy Pace cars had the J65, but it gives you an idea on the totals...

This.

The fact that the VIN and the trim tag match is what matters. Whatever that SPID is, it is irrelevant to this car.

Indygene, the CFI parts are out there. You can find them...
