I have a friend with a 1986 Trans Am. It has the LB9 (5.0L FI), CC1 (T-top), C60 (A/C), WS6 (perf suspension, inc J65 (4 wh disc brakes))...

The odd thing is it has the N96 (High Tech Turbo) Wheels, Normally this would not be odd, but according to the Dealer Order worksheet, if you got the WS6 with LB9, CC1, C60, you were supposed to get the PW7 (Diamond spoke wheels )...

I know his car is really early as it has the 140 speedo without the KMph...

Look at the Right Column, you will see WS6 and the details. The Flip side of this sheet states it was from 6-85 so it was not a later revision.

Are there any others out there with the LB9, CC1, C60, WS6 and N96?

I just realized I uploaded the wrong side

Re: 1986 T/A WS6 Question
My TA came with the N96 Wheels also,It has the LB9, CC1, C60, WS6 and N96.\If you look at the sheet below,(2nd page of order sheet)to get the PW7s you would have to have a couple more options,D42 ,BS1, and DK6 These are and ores.I THINK.

Man I learn something new everyday.
Actually, according to the sales brochure, the N96 only was available with the WS6 Package. But either one was still available as an option.

Re: 1986 T/A WS6 Question
mantaguy,
Your sheet appears to be a later version, could you scan and get me a copy of that?

I find these things fascinating to see how they change through the year...

If you look at the side B of the one I uploaded you will see that your copy has more on it than mine.

Thanks

Re: 1986 T/A WS6 Question
My friends car I know he does not have the (D42) cargo screen, or the (DK6) Overhead console, But I think he has the BS1 which is the extra insulation, at least his rear panels are carpeted... I am not sure if that is part of the the BS1 or not.

I have a scanner BUT,I don't know how to use itI took a pic, hope you can see it.

Maybe you can enlarge it,but anyway there is a difference, mine doesn't mention anything about having AC to get the wheels.

Mine doesn't have anything you mention above either and mine doesn't have the Carpet covering the panels. Here's a pic of my spid.

They were only available for the 86 model up until 12/85 then it was discontinued for 86.Me personally,I've never seen one.
Hope you can see these.

Re: 1986 T/A WS6 Question
I cannot make out the finer print on the picture of the worksheet...

Could you take 2 pictures of each side? Right and Left Half

I can then stitch them together, or just email them to me.

Re: 1986 T/A WS6 Question
I got them, it is interesting, this appears to be the "Third Printing" although I cannot make out the bottom 1/4" of the pages. I assume from PHS (Pontiac Historical Services), My best Guess would be that the form is from 9-85, mine is from 6-85, so it would make sense the changes made...

The bottom of page one should read if I can deduce from my other information:
Form 6504-516-4 9-85 Third Printing $ = EXTRA COST > = Change Since Last Printing

The bottom of the second page you are missing

J65 - Power Brakes, Four Wheel Disc (req's Limited Slip Axle G80 - Inc. W/Special Performance Package Req'd. w/5.0 Liter Engine LB9 or L69 - NA w/2.5 Liter Engine LQ9)

Special Performance package would refer to the WS6

I wonder if there is a 4th Version of this form that deletes the L69...
