1992 Firebird Base???
I saw this advertised on Ebay as a 1992 base Firebird.
My 1992 front does not look like this. I sent the seller a note to double check the VIN and title because it looks like a 1988, 1989, or 1990. NOT 1992.
Re: 1992 Firebird Base???
The VIN posted in the eBay ad is a 1992 Firebird. The car has had body work done, as the eBay description states. Car has 184K and is a 22 year old car so a lot can happen.
If you're wondering if the car is rare, no.

Thanks. Now I know that someone would intentionally make their car look like an older model. Doesn't make sense to me, but maybe owner liked the older style or had the older replacement parts available for cheap. Myself, long before I ever owned one, I've always thought the 91-92 Firebird styling made it one of the most beautiful looking sports car. I just couldn't imagine myself altering that long sloping front end. But, to each his own.

I'll agree -- I like the nose on the 91-92 cars better than the earlier ones. Most of my friends and it seems most of the people on this board prefer the earlier style though, which I think looks really cheap with the black rubber strips.
