Notchback rarity

I know that there were 718 notchbacks produced. However I read an article (http://transamnotchback.blogspot.com...tiacs.html?m=1) that says only 50 were produced wit hthe 350. Mine is 1 of them. I am just curious more than anything, out of those 50, how many were hard top-analog dash cars? Its just curiosity. Still pretty cool I have 1 of only 50 produced....if its true.

Re: Notchback rarity

To be direct, the numbers on that site are made up and way off. There is no known figures for how many had the 350, 305, 305 with T-Tops, digital dash, etc. I think that's also suggested with the even figures.

Additionally, as an example, I had 3 of them with the 350. The 350 appears to be common. I can't believe there was only 47 others out there with the 350.

Re: Notchback rarity

I too would say that info is inaccurate. Since the 5.7L was standard in the GTA, I'd say the majority of Notchback cars were so equipped. I've only seen a few in all the years I've owned one and known of them that were 5.0L cars.

If you see a Notchback with T-tops, for instance, it would have to be a 5.0L car unless the T-tops are AM.

Just my two cents worth....
