I'm curious. Is The IROC Z's color combination a factory option? It says it had a respray in the Ad. I like the combo either way.

Awesome, more attention we get the better!
Side comment tho, OMFG I can't believe how high these cars were and how the suspension looked when they were factory brand new, it's awful haha! I think that GTA needs new rear shocks tho as the front looks higher than the rear lol. It's been a long time since my GTA was factory ride height but I still remember the horrible fender gap that made the wheel/tires look so small in the wheel well.
That said, I can't even tell you how many times my 3" y-pipe has taken one for the team I'm on my 3rd one in 14yrs.

The Trans Am does look high in the front... It looks like it is on some sort of hill in the picture, so that might be throwing the whole thing off too... The Formula looks sweet.. Not grooving on the Black IROC with the blue... I would prefer a gold or a Silver over the Blue IMHO

For 2 mecum auctions in a row, we have some nice 3rd gen's going through. Last time it was a Firehawk, some 1LE's and GTA's. The Formula getting sold on Saturday is nice to see. Again 3rd Gen's are being represented on THE main day of the sale. And what a sweet ride it is!

Well fridays results didn't fare too well. The GTA's high bid was 7K and the Camaro stopped at 14.5K. Today the formula hits the stage.

OH, and the Formula hit a high bid of $4000, and did NOT sell, as it did not hit the reserve. This car was clean, I looked at it pretty hard, and wish I had the money to bid on it. SO, I bought a 88 IROC-Z with the base 5.0 TBI, and I love it so far!

Re: 3 1988 Third Gens At Mecum Anaheim
I was there for Fridays auction, and saw all three of the cars in person. They looked nice in person, but there is not allot of interest to car collectors in the 3rd gens yet...the announcers at the auction were saying, one day, these 3rd gens will be like the earlier camaros, and people will be sorry they didn't buy them when they had the chance to get them at a lower price. So hold on to your 3rd gens as they are the next up and coming classic "F" bodies!!
