Out of the 200 that were made with this package in 1992, Im curious how many are still on the road? I have one, and I've seen 3-4 others in my online snooping. Posts pics or knowledge! I saw one guy with two 92's on this site--both 350's, both Jamaica yellow--one a hard top, one a ttop. So there's 2 that we know about for sure! Any more TGO's with this package?

 

When was it confirmed that there were 200 92 CC1/L98 Formys made in that combo?

 

There were about a thousand Formulas over all in 1992, partly because 4th gens were coming out, and people were apt to save their money for that. Of those 1,000 or so, only about 200 had the 350/ttop combo. I've seen it confirmed several times by different sales tallies, some on this site.

 

If memory serves n compnine when you could search for RPOs, and select which ones you wanted to keep, it came back with about 200 for both 1991 & another 200 in 1992... Compnine is not complete, so there might be about another 10% out there... but it is the best we have right now.

It has been a few years, I wish I could go back and search it again to verify.

IIRC there were no GTA's, Trans Ams or Z28's with the combo.

 

Yeah, it was you or someone that posted that data on here a few months back. It's in the 200 range, probably 200-220 or so. Since only about 1000 were even made to begin with, 200ish sounds about right for that option package. But either way, I doubt even half of them are still on the road. I'm surprised though that we've not gotten any bites at all on this thread, because I know for a fact there are 2-3 others on this site alone.

 

Here's a pic of one from this site. Both are 92/350's, and one is a ttop. Can't remember the poster or when it was posted. (I wish I had this setup in my garage...)

 

I really am wishing when I had access to it I would have done a list of each color combo... It would have been neat information.
