BOSE stereo variations from 87-89 WHO KNOWS what's CORRECT?
Has anyone else noticed the Bose logo variations from 87 - 89? I noticed on my rear panels that one says BOSE/DELCO then one says BOSE/GM/DELCO.
We'll I didn't realize until yesterday qhwn looking at the head units that they are also different for the years. I had a tough time building two complete OEM BOSE systems but luckily found all the right parts. Only took me 4+ years.
Dated 12 of 87 just says BOSE/ DELCO
Other one dated 12 of 88 says BOSE/GM/DELCO
Re: BOSE stereo variations from 87-89 WHO KNOWS what's CORRECT?
My '87 didn't have the head unit when I bought it, but it did have the all of the speakers. The logos on the rear speakers are the Delco/GM/Bose and I know the build date of my car was 02/87.

Interestingly my 1990 Buick Riviera had only Delco Bose... It was a Gold series, not sure what the differences were between a standard BOSE and a Gold BOSE...
I still have the amp from the radio... That was one of the best sounding car radios I have ever owned.
