Not mine but a good topic! What do you think? Is it time that the TTA gains value and is in the realm of the low mileage GN & GNX? Thoughts?

Re: $95,000 TTA
I think he has to bring it to a barret jackson auction in another 10-15 years to even get close to that. He's trying to sell one of the most expensive thirdgens out there. I don't even think the Firehawk that was listed a few months or a year back sold for near that price either.

Re: $95,000 TTA
The kicker is; its about as new as it gets. I would say this is difficult to price. This is low mile GNX territory. My guess is the owner is looking for an offer. I don't see that car selling for 95k! Not today.

Re: $95,000 TTA
There was a sub 1000 mile festival car that sold for under $30k a year ago and the gorgeous 2k mile hardtop cloth 1 of 15 TTA that sold at Mecum for 34k in Jan of 2015 as well... As much as I wish they were worth that kind of money, $95k is just too much unfortunately... It's worth good money, but somewhere around half of what he is asking.

Re: $95,000 TTA
From a marketing perspective, it would be better to remove the trickle charger for the photos. They don't get any more new than that vehicle BUT the cord over the bumper cover and the lift make it look like it is under repair. Reminds me of the craigslist pictures where guys are huddled under the hood of an old truck repairing it with anti freeze jugs in the ground saying "it runs great' in the ad or the photo of the rear floor with a jug of coolant and a quart of trans fluid and the ad saying "doesn't leak a drop'. Excellent car, just needs improvement in the marketing dept.

40k ish would be my idea for price.
There are just to many of these TTAs in this condition or close to it to be bringing that money. More TTA sellers than buyers these days.

Yup! A quick search of eBay, hemmings, cars.com, etc. typically reveals several survivor quality TTAs with low miles. It seems anything over 10k miles is a high mile TTA.

I saw one with about 800 miles, never titled, at a Cars & Coffee.

Re: $95,000 TTA
$35K-$45K tops right now.

I considered a 18K mile car that was asking $18K in Chicago a few months back...

I agree. 35k-45k...

I would think a hardtop car would command a premium over a t-top car due to production numbers and there are some people that prefer them over t-top cars. Two with cloth interiors and very low miles sold 1-2 years ago in the 30s with low mileage (not as low as this car but still very low).

$35k to the right buyer. Personally, if I'm looking for a turbo'd GM car from the 80s, I'm going to pick a Grand National.

Re: $95,000 TTA
I find it a little strange that the car is sitting on a lift, but not one picture underneath. Like many of you guys, I think the under picts are what separate nice low mile cars from cars that have been very well stored, cleaned & seldom driven. The bottom side is just a must in my book for cars at this level.. Hard to fake an ultra clean & original bottom side & its the first thing to fade as a car is driven or improperly stored IMO.

These cars have made a pretty good jump in value in the past 10 years They finally are starting to meet & exceed their window sticker price. I wish I would have bought one 10-12 yeas ago.

I've been looking for a clean, low mile astro roof 87 for years, hard car to find - at least in that sweet spot of condition & price.

Re: $95,000 TTA
Third-gens are at the bottom end of the appreciation curve. It will take a long time for any TTA to appreciate as high as this car does.
