1992 1LE B4C RS on e-Bay
Interesting only because of the color. You would think that red would be a very popular color but since most of the B4C cars were either white or black, this car in the bright red becomes rare. Only 10 of these were built, 9 of them with the 5.7 and 1 with the MK6
Bet the seller doesn't know that.

Awesome car! Personally not a fan of dark red exterior over a bright red interior, but it makes for a rare car. Thanks for posting; I haven't seen one in this combo, but I've seen Polo Green and Purple Haze B4Cs. It seems like a lot of these things never made it into actual police service, but it could just be perception as the ones that were used in service are likely discarded and rotting in junk yards.

Nice ride, really red. I bet the majority of these car are/were owned by folks who do not know what they have, therefore driven, used up and discarded.

I seem to remember a magazine article from 1991-92 extolling the virtues of the B4C, similar to the 1LE piece. It seems like a fair number of B4Cs were obtained early on by collectors. If anything the gov auction cars seem to be the ones people didn't know or care were "special". Plenty of those cars have ended up as cheap race cars, project cars, beaters or parts cars. I haven't seen any B4Cs advertised as just an RS, just tons of marginal cars for collector money and "350 Camaro RS" ads with E in the eighth digit and a round aircleaner.
