80's and 90's Cars are Getting Recognized - Radwood Car Show Article and Photos
My article and photography was published on Jalopnik. Check it out here:

This Car Show Gloriously Celebrates Your '80s and '90s Dream Machines
Radwood was a 1980 to 1999 only car show, with exceptions given to period correct or significant cars that were not from the era (for example, an early '90s style hot rod or an out of era Hollywood car from a popular '80s movie). Period correct dress was also highly encouraged - think Goodwood, but Rad.
I took my 1991 Camaro RS B4C and went with a Dealership 1991 theme. That meant a laminated copy of the window sticker was in the passenger window and the rear plate was replaced with a Heartbeat of America plate. I also managed to find a real, vintage Heartbeat of American jacket sold by the very dealership that sold my Camaro new. Perhaps the jacket was on sale in the parts department while my car sat on the showroom floor...
I was surprised and very happy with the reception the Camaro received. People loved it, and so many had a story about an old Camaro or Mustang that they had back in the day. There's a large appreciation for these cars hiding amongst everyday car enthusiasts.

I enjoyed reading that. Thanks!
....and completely UN-thirdgen related, I have nothing but fond memories of several of my 80s/90s cars. A few Toyotas, a few S10s, my old 86 Camaro SC 2.8, an old honda accord, etc. etc. ...I'm SURE a lot has to do with the fact that it's when I grew up, but still. Awesome. Love it.
