Is there a data base i can put the production number of a car im looking at to get the RPO codes?

 

Not for 86. 86 was one of the BIG years too, I can't think of anything that's really "rare" for 86.

 

As Drew says, unless the car is an export, those records are not public for that (and any year prior to about 1990) model year.

If you want the major RPO codes for a VIN, you can order a copy of an invoice from GM Media Archive for about $50:

Note it may not contain a list of every single RPOs for that VIN. It is a copy of an invoice which will generally list the major RPOs for the VIN.

 

Hmmm I need to know if it is a Z28 and an Iroc . Just my luck that the B4z code would not be a major one.
