Does this car have the original interior and interior color
Does this 86 Iroc have the original interior color? It looks very light to me. Almost white.

Very nice car, and it appears all the mods are reversible if not to taste, but that's still a lot of money for an 86. I do love the color combo, though. Appears the interior looks lighter than it is due to camera flash.

Definitely not original.. 86 usually had that velour interior. They didn’t make door skins like that either.. Looks good though!.. they didn’t have leather until 87 I believe..

Probably originally had this interior and the guy got leather seats in a lighter tan and made matching door skins..

All those plastics are painted white with white leather seats. Not original

Ok, thanks guys. I thought it might be some odd ball option I was not aware of. Overall I actually do think it looks very sharp. Would have been a great factory option. The price is over the top for an 86 but some reason I really like the looks of this car. The tire letters look stupid but overall I think the car looks very sharp. To me it’s an 8k car max and that’s just because I really like the look of it and would probably pay extra for it’s unique look.

$8k-9k sounds more like it..
70k miles too..
I got mine appraised for $22k, but probably couldn’t sell it for that.. love how the guy says “appraised for $15,900” and asks $17,500..
Appraisals are pretty much only for insurance.. you can’t sell for the appraisal price! The market is what it is.. just what people are willing to pay..

Leather? That sure looks like vinyl. Vinyl seats in 86 would have been high back buckets, not the 'custom' interior. The build sheet will tell the tale if a person wants to blow it up and go over the codes. With that price, the miles, the lack of attention to authenticity in the restoration, I can't care enough to bother.

I wonder if the interior color was changed by the dealer when the car was new. I could see that happening in 86.

But its is often these overpriced cars that slowly raise the values of all of them over the years. Monkey see, Monkey do. Then a Real nice original low mile car comes for sale at less or the same price as these overpriced machines & those become a bargain by comparison.

Re: Does this car have the original interior and interior color
I actually kind of like the white lettering, but only because it kinda gives the appearance of an actual IROC race car.
I doubt I would ever do that to my own car though.
