1992 Trans Am LB9/MK6. Should I save it and not part it out?!?!

looking on compnine and see only 223 mk6 rpos for 1992 firebirds.... must be rare. Rusted out both floors gone also cross member hanging. only 58k miles...

Also see rpo for gold mesh wheels but that seems wrong?!

If it's got rust that bad, probably best to NOT try to "restore" it. At least not because it's "rare". Unless you just REALLY want THAT PARTICULAR car for some reason other than "it'll be worth alot someday", you'll spend about 3 times as much money and no telling how many times more effort in "restoring" it, than you could just go out and buy a nice non-rotted one for. Basically you're going to have to find a nice non-rotted car and cut it up to get the sections to salvage that one.

If the RPO codes list gold mesh wheels, then ... the RPO codes list gold mesh wheels. Hard for that to be "wrong" no matter what it "seems". No idea myself whether any such code is in that list.

well the floors are gone but the body its self looks good. seems it was sitting in tall grass for awhile. the gold wheels must have been a add on option
