Not sure if it's the same car, but I think that car was part of a collection recently...and apparently sold, and is now being resold. I don't KNOW for sure.....but that's a pretty rare color combo.....with full docs and low miles, convertible, leather, 5 speed.....wow....can't be many of them out there. I know rare and valuable aren't the same thing.....but THAT car is rare right there. The Medium Beechwood/gold is my favorite interior, so any of the 88-90 cars, regardless of paint color, would be MY personal faves...then add the leather, 5 speed, vert.....yep, that'll do. That'll do.

Compared to the 1991 or 92 RS I saw at a dealer this week for $17,000, then yes, I'd pay $20k for the IROC w/ TPI.

Agreed. With the ease of taking digital pics this is not hard to get 6 decent shots; with at least one or two of the WHOLE car. Real pet peeve of mine. I usually assume something to hide or a complete moron when I see this and want to deal with neither.

It looks good, but a dealer that had professional photos and a video would have had that car sold at that price already.. I saw this car for sale a while ago..
Vanguard would put that car up for at least $28k
That interior looks sweet but would like to see more..

its nice to see you can buy a tpi ,5 speed conv. with low miles for a decent price still .. it will probably go for 18-19k .. i saw a mint 30k iroc conv over the summer for 15k but it was a auto so i passed on it ..

They’re not exactly making them anymore..
I would have preferred a 5-speed, but the color was important to me.. I wouldn’t trade my Vert for this red one.. A big part of these cars is the visual impression they made on me and Flame and Black I will always choose over other colors. The auto isn’t so bad.. manually shift it and keep it in lower gears and it’s great.. I will say driving around town in Overdrive stinks, but so would driving 35mph in 5th gear..

You should have flipped it.. the autos are worth as much as the 5-speeds.. especially mint with those miles..

I haven’t had to sell one, but figured with the prices going up they must be selling quicker..
Maybe not..

Probably is a 20k car but I would rather have t-tops. Other than that perfect car, really nice.

I'm in this weird spot where I think thirdgens are undervalued and I want to see them go up in price. However, it gets hard for me to imagine myself buying a clean low mile car for over $20k even if that's the right price for them... there are just so many other choices out there past the $20k mark, and the ability to drive and enjoy the thirdgen diminishes at that price point. Over $20k and it better be perfect and in a gotta-have-it configuration, like chazman's 89 IROC or evo305tpi's teal 92 1LE. This convertible isn't doing it for me.

As the prices go up I get pickier about things. This car doesn’t do it for me, but if someone bought it I’d congratulate them and wouldn’t consider it a bad deal.. I think the interior on this car is really nice and unique.. I think it’s a good looking, nice car, just not something I’m lusting for to be in my garage..
Over $20k I want features I can’t live without and a car I’d never sell..
